For Healers Ready to Deepen Their Practice.
At Amaroo Sanctuary – Mindo, and the Amazon’s Aguarico River
With Itzhak Beery and Indigenous Elders:
Taita Don Manuel Calazacón and the Tsáchila family
Taita Don Basilio Payaguaje and Siekopai elders
Don José Zambrano
This apprenticeship is for those ready to go beyond learning and into living wisdom—beyond information and into embodied healing. It is for those who feel the call to use this path to help heal others and the Earth itself.
There are no coincidences. If these words find you, perhaps your soul has already begun to stir. It’s time—time to step away from the screen and into the forest. Time to walk the ancient paths of the Andes and Amazon, where shamanic knowledge is preserved not in books, but in the breath and steps of the elders, the rhythm of ceremony, and the pulse of the land itself.
This is not a retreat or a tour. It is a rare 17-day immersive rite of passage for healers, therapists, bodyworkers, coaches, and seekers of all kinds—those ready to deepen their gifts and step into service through firsthand experience and sacred initiation.
What you’ll experience:
• Hands-on La Limpia apprenticeship training in traditional Andean energy cleansing, protection, and diagnostics—from start to finish, including all 12 stages and the philosophy behind each step
• Fire ceremonies, sweat lodge, and visionary plant medicine work with Huachuma (San Pedro), Yajé, and Ayahuasca
• Amazonian soul-mending rituals: plant baths, tincture making, flower and mud healing baths
-Daily Sunrise sacred movements to welcome Taita Inti (Father Sun)
• Guided shamanic journeys, dream integration, and sacred storytelling
• Teachings from Tsáchila and Siekopai shamans in their home territories
• Initiations in sacred places—waterfalls, rivers, and under the great Ceibo trees
• Daily embodiment practice, spiritual mentorship, and cultural immersion
• Intimate connection with the shamans’ families and personal wisdom sharing
– A day at a Hot Spring Hotel in the Andes before traveling back home
We begin with fire. We climb to sacred waters. We sit beneath the jungle canopy—in silence or song. We walk barefoot across ancient ground and listen, not only to the elders, but to our soul’s deeper remembering.

Why 17 Days? Because true transformation takes time.
- It takes a few days just to exhale—to release the stress and urgency of your daily life and begin syncing with the natural rhythm of the forest and mountains.
- You need time to let go of your roles, responsibilities, and the noise of the outside world.
- Seventeen days give you the space to do nothing—so you can feel everything.
- It allows for meaningful bonding with fellow participants—through shared stories, laughter, and silence.
- Insights need time to rise, unfold, and settle deeply into your being.
- You get the opportunity to meet shamans not as distant guides, but as real human beings—to build trust, connection, and rapport.
- This journey isn’t a shortcut to becoming a healer. It’s a path of authenticity, humility, and deep initiation.
- It’s not curated for comfort or speed—it’s raw, sacred, and real.
- Your business, clients, and family will still be there. This is your time—to rebuild, remember, and reconnect.
