Join Amantha Murphy as she guides us through the sacred gateway of Samhain, one of the eight great festivals of the Celtic Wheel of the Year, through the lens of The Way of the Seabhean – a tradition rooted in the ancient teachings of the Tuatha de Danann, the Tree Brethren, the Ancestors, and the deep wisdom of the Grandmothers.

Samhain marks the time when the veil between the worlds is thinnest. It is the Celtic New Year, the descent into the darkness, a time of ancestral communion, of letting go and dreaming anew. In the Seabhean tradition, we honour this turning not just as a seasonal shift, but as a portal – one that invites us to walk between worlds, connect with those who have gone before, and step more fully into right relationship with ourselves and the greater weave of life.

In this 90-minute webinar, Amantha will share the mythological, ceremonial, and spiritual dimensions of Samhain – its ancient customs, associated deities, and its place within the sacred cycle of the year. We will explore how this festival supports our work in the Lower World of roots and ancestors, deepening our connection to lineage, memory, and power.

As with all Seabhean teachings, this session invites a remembering – a reweaving of personal and collective threads. Through storytelling and spiritual insight, Amantha will open a doorway into the deeper mysteries of the season. We will close with a gentle guided journey, followed by space for questions and reflections.

The Seabhean is she who walks between the worlds. She carries the wisdom of the Cailleach and the gift of the Shaman – guiding us to live in the fullness of our being, to honour the turning of the seasons, and to awaken the song that sings in our blood and in our bones.

About Amantha

Amantha Murphy is a Seabhean, Shamanic Teacher, Seer, Healer, Celebrant and Author who follows the path of the Goddess. She started her spiritual work publicly in 1972 as a clairvoyant, moving within 2 years into trance mediumship and healing. She developed many tools along the Way with her Spirit, Ancestors, Grandmother, Tree Brethren, Stone People and Tuatha de Dannon teaching and guiding her and continues to work with both individuals and groups. Amantha is a Mother of four and Grandmother of four, living in County Kerry, Ireland, working primarily: with the Land, Running Apprentice Teachings at home in Ireland, in Canada and the United States on The Way of the Seabhean which includes Womyn’s Rites of Passage as well as teaching mixed groups in Ancient Irish Shamanism.
