For the 2nd time, we offer a 16-day intensive apprenticeship program to deepen your knowledge, gain new skills, and enhance your understanding of the traditional Andes and Amazon shamanic healing methods. We are planning this healing trip for a select group of healers who wish to use the Andes healing methods in their practices. Cost: $5,880.00

Includes: All shamanic ceremonies, the teaching of shamanic healing with Itzhak Beery and local shamans, the teaching materials, all transportation (land/air) in Ecuador, entry fees, hotel accommodations (double/triple), English-speaking guides, translators, food, and snacks.

Not included: International flights, tips, laundry, personal expenses, and early and late land extensions.

The program (subject to change):

The first week (early afternoon Jan 2 – early morning Jan 9)
We will start our first week with a visit to Volcano Antisana. With any luck, we’ll meet the legendary Andes condors on its cliffs. The following five days will be a hands-on apprenticeship program called “The Path of the Yachak-Shaman.” It will take place at the stunning Amaroo Sanctuary in the cloud forest on the banks of the Mindo River. The program will be mainly taught by Itzhak Beery and by local shamans. It will include:

-Daily Sunrise sacred movements to welcome Taita Inti (Father Sun)
-Gain the knowledge, tools, and experience to perform an entire La Limpia ceremony, the powerful Andes cleansing, purification, and protection ceremony.
-Learn candle-reading, egg-reading, palm-reading, and other healing methods with one another.
-Night ceremonies with plant medicine: Ayahuasca with the Taschila tribe, Guayusa Dream tea, and cacao.
-Temazcal–Sweat lodge, fire, and water ceremonies.
-Nature hikes to the waterfalls, cable rides, river bathing, and butterfly sanctuary visits.
-In the town of Minto, you can sample the famous organic chocolates and coffees and buy gifts.
-A Talking Stick integration circle is held weekly to help process the experiences.

Second week (early morning Jan 9 – early morning Jan 17)
The first week will be excellent preparation for our stay at the Siekopai-Secoya tribe deep in the Amazon on the enchanted Aguarico River with the Don Basilio family.

-Immerse with their local healing methods and learn to use plants, barks, and herbs
-Experience toxic removal mud healing baths, rejuvenation flower baths, and ceremonial face painting.
-Early morning renewals ceremonies.
-Participate in a Yajé plant medicine ceremony (similar to Ayahuasca).
-Learn to prepare cassava bread, weave palm leaves, and do other tribal work.
-Nature hikes into the primary forest to meet, pray, and honor the 800-year-old Mother Tree.
-Sit around a bonfire to hear the Siekopai histories, spiritual myths, and current states.
-A Talking Stick integration circle is held weekly to help process the experiences.

Last days (afternoon Jan 17 – mid-day Jan 18)
Arrive at Terma de Papallacta, a sulfur hot water healing luxury retreat, preparing ourselves to enter our civilization. Nature hikes, spend time in the hot pools, and enjoy spa services.
