As the Wheel of the Year turns toward its deepest night, the Winter Solstice invites us into a moment of stillness, reflection, and rebirth. In the Celtic tradition, this is the hinge point between the long descent that began at Samhain and the slow return of the light at Imbolc. The old year contracts, the new one has not yet emerged, and the wisdom of the dark holds us in its quiet centre.
In our upcoming ShamanPortal Wisdom Webinar, guided by Amantha Murphy and her ancient teachings of The Way of the Seabhean, we will meet the Cailleach, the formidable Old Woman of Winter and keeper of the land’s most ancient rhythms. Amantha Murphy is a Seabhean, Shamanic Teacher, Seer, Healer, Celebrant and Author who follows the path of the Goddess.
