Waltraud Hönes is a curandera and ceremonialist in the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition, transpersonal psychologist and Feldenkrais practitioner®. From 1997 - 2007 she apprenticed with the originator of the tradition, don Oscar Miro- Quesada. In the year 2000, with the help of don Oscar, she founded the Dolomiten Ayllu, the first European group of Pachakuti Mesa carriers in South Tyrol, Italy. Her work with the Dolomiten Ayllu has grown a European branch of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition complementing it with the region’s shamanic- mythic heritage. As don Oscar’s sanctioned European representative of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition and ceremonial leader of the Dolomiten Ayllu, she gives workshops throughout Europe, works in private practice and leads ceremonies and pilgrimages in the sacred mountains of the Dolomites, where she lives. Her deep love for these mountains empowers all her ceremonies and teachings. Waltraud’s specialty is orchestrating group ceremonies in which mythic themes are ritualized for the purpose of planetary renewal through the transformation of our collective human consciousness.
Information about a pilgrimage in the Dolomites at the end of August 2009 and a new apprenticeship series beginning in November 2009 on our Website.
