North America > Resources > Ayahuasca Retreats
Location: Contamana, Pucallpa, Native Community of San Fran
JUNE 8-15 2015
This 7 day retreat will allow us to explore plant medicine and Ayahuasca healing, while also deepening our connection to nature and community. The retreat is co-facilitated by a family of Shipibo healers, allowing participants to engage with the healers in their environment and gain a greater understanding of their sacred ways and spiritual intelligence.
During the retreat we will participate in a total of 4 Ayahuasca ceremonies with a family of Shipibo healers- led by Nihue Rama (Justina), shaman with over 40 years of experience.
We will begin the ceremonies inside the park grounds at Sierra del Divisor Natural Protected Area (Contamana) – where we will have access to the natural hot springs, waterfalls, and trails with diverse flora and fauna. We will spend the last few days of the retreat in the Native Community of San Francisco (Pucallpa), where we will experience life in a traditional Shipibo village.
