The raven is the closest animal. Raven is always there for me and teaches me. Whenever I feel alone Raven always comes to me.

That is also a very smart bird. I have just moved to the az area and saw my first wild one. Such a beautiful one to see.

My Dreamer totem is the Crow/Raven. It is in its Crow form that it comes to me the most. It brings me messages from the other worlds and helps me travel between worlds.

The Animal which I am very close to is the Andean Condor. I do not want to share the reasons why. What is yours, 1Eagle?

It varies. Each time it's another animal.
They reflect something very personal, accurate and actual.
This day for example, I noticed the Monarch butterflies are flying back to USA and Canada. During the morning hours they are gracefully gathering when the sun makes their bodies warm enough and then they start with the help of the southern strong winds, to fly towards north.
Today, I felt so strong with them... today they are my favorite animal.
Tomorrow - we'll see.
It ocurred to me that maybe it would also be interesting to share if there are animals who are repulsive to us? And why?

The Redtail hawk is the closet animal to my heart. I've learned alot from this GREAT teacher! I rehabed a couple Redtail hawks that were injured. And there around me daily. When I journey my brother comes with me. And I also shape shift into redtail hawk during journeying for someone I'm helping. Great subject! Many Blessings Jim I

It is Horse for me, although many others share their wisdom I always find myself walking with the horse.

I have found that I am very fond of Raccoons for their ingenuity and cleverness....Raccoon is not my power animal however, but I am always facinated that they are fiercesome little creatures that have been able to adapt to even the Urban areas as man encroached into their territory. Raccoon medicine is strong and perhaps I need to learn from what my four legged brother is trying to tell me.

in many of my dreams i have been a bear, they have been very happy dreams for me, i felt more alive hunting for fish in cold rivers then i have in most of the monotony of waking life, and though the animal that seems to guide me in my journey through life is a buzzard, i feel bearish , if that makes sense...maybe I'm just waffling again...

The animal closest to my heart is the cat - mainly because my Power Animal is Tiger.
I resonate with many different animals, both wild and domestic. Right now, there is a red fox that sleeps right outside my studio doors. He lays in the flowerbed and has eaten just about all the chipmunks that have been running around in my yard. He even looks in the windows at me, and sits on my front porch to watch the evening come. He's most entertaining!
I also have deer and ducks and squirrels and a hawk that loves the squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks, birds and turtles. And what is truly amazing is all this is in the heart of the nation's Capital.

i have always been drawn to crows and cats, i dont know why, but i did read somewhere that the cat is the patient hunter and will watch its prey and study it before it pounces.

Shamans throughout time, have remembered the wisdom of being open-
minded. I want to hear any shamanic philosophies -not just words of wisdom- that any one may wish to share on any shamanic subject.
I have not spoken for a while on this site, I have been travelling.
My family is teribly poor and starving, we are really getting the test of
our faithe in Allah with all of this severe adversity. We are starving now,
so I hope that what I say now will help someone. I will post some thoughts,
hopefully helpful ones, any where I can on this site while I have the chance
to tonight.
