I have just finished reading every book that Hank Wesselman has written and have read all of sandra ingerman. I am not new to shamanism but just looking for other authors to read. I am looking at the "Urban shaman" by Serge Kahili King and any sugesstions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Walt

Hi,

A friend has a novel about shamanism in southern Siberia and it is thoroughly researched, so you might find something useful there.

It's called Black Sky, White Sky and you can get it on Amazon.

Another, very rare book is Shamanic Songs and Myths Of Tuva - Mongush B. Kenin-Lopsan.

Also there is a good introduction, I think simply called Shaman, by Piers Vitebsky.

And if you can find a copy, there's Tracing Shamans in Siberia by Vilmos Dioszegi.

All the best,

Mac Blyth

My book has just been published - it would help orient you - plus it provides a series of embodiment practices that would give you a solid foundation for beginning to work-learn-practice shamanism: It's available on Amazon:
A Shaman's Guide to Deep Beauty

- warm regards Francis Rico

There is a book called "Psychedelic Shamanism" by Jim DeKorne I'm reading right now. It starts off by saying all the ancient religions have huge metaphysical similarities because the writers were all shamanic king psychonauts who experience some sort of objective reality or pillar while using psychoactive plants.
