I work for Juvenile Justice Services so I have a natural interest in protecting the community. Mostly I focus on cases of child abduction, serial sex crimes, serial shooters, and serial murders. I only act shamanical if my heart pulls me to it and my allies agree. I'm not out to change the world but have found this to be a challanging and rewarding area of shamanic work that shamans in many traditional cultures involve themselves in but seems to be mostly ignored in contemporary shamanism. I wonder, Dennis, if it’s not so much ignored, as just not spoken much of?

either way I applaud you, your efforts, and the results thereof.

I think there are many ways a shamanic practitioner can work for their community. but I’d say the “defend and protect” from those who harm innocents is one of the biggies.
