In the Amazon Basin, shamans are divided into two basic groups based on the motivating intentions for their work within the spiritual dimensions. A healer is called a curandero, and a sorcerer is called a brujo. There are several other terms used to distinguish further the style or type of work done. I live and study with an ayahuasquero. He is a curandero who specializes in working with the sacred medicine, ayahuasca.
If you are curious about ayahuasca and how it is used traditionally in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru, than I can most likely answer your questions. We run a healing retreat program and offer two education programs each year. It is our hope and dream that the wisdom of the spirit return to the realities of modern civilazation.
Thank you all for taking part in this spiritual revolution. I look forward to learning from you all, as well as sharing with you the wisdom I have been fortunate enough to experience here with my teacher, don Juan.
Muchisimo Gracias.
Cuidate hermanos y hermanas,
