Hey all
I have read 'Trance-Portation' by Diana L Paxton. I found it very good, with stong emphasis on 'safety' and 'slow steps at a time'. Does anyone have any other suggestions for good books to read for learning to journey?
I am understanding the concept of the drum as a 'horse', as the drumming does seem to 'carry you' over. The drumming does seem to eventually drift into the background, leaving you to focus on your surroundings and intention. The focus of my base camp, did suddenly change from being ... 'outside of me' and 'around me', to, a focus of being 'within myself' and 'within' the base camp. Does my experience sound like the norm. for a newbie? ALL advice welcome.
Regards, Womble

I would probably say that's normal if you're just getting involved in hypnotic trances. There are many ways to describe these things. When you're ready ride the trance somewhere else, but be prepared and don't treat this like a legal high.
