I wish very much to learn the ways of shaman, but find myself quite exhausted searching for the right opportunity, Not that no opportunities exist where I'm from, but they mostly contain workshops that take place once or twice a month for a hefty fee. I wish to immerse myself in the culture and it's art, and actually dedicate myself to it, not look at it as a hobby or something cool to do on the weekend. So my search continues and I ask on here if anyone who is a real shaman or shaman practioner who has mastered the art and is willing to take on a pupil, please do contact me. Any other tips from people who once were on the same search and succeeded would also be much appreciated, For i am only someone with A good heart who desires to learn. Thank you.

Many years ago, I was sincere of heart ....looking for a teacher who would connect with me at a heart level. I had been 'scalded' before and in all honesty, wasn't sure I could face that again. But my prayers were answered...and I found a teacher whom helped me heal on so many levels. I have been studying with Shaman Elder Maggie Wahls now for five years. I would certainly suggest you write to her and ask her any questions that you have. She always loves to be asked questions! LOL
