It is disturbing, when people talk of themselves in third person. Image you get is so schitzophrenic. :)

Shamanic Healing should be for free and for a price.
The reason that I say this is because Shamans have to make a living also. They need a car, a house to live in, money for groceries, clothes for their kids. If they are a full-time Shaman you better believe they should be paid. Otherwise they would live in a tent down by the river and you wouldn't go to them for help. In fact, Shamans are just as valuable as medical doctors. I think they should be paid very well.
On the other hand there should be free shamanic work. There are shamans that do their work on a part-time basis and make money at a regular job, but these should be paid for their services also. I worked with a healer several years ago. She took donations and I donated. We all should.
If a doctor sets a cast on a broken arm should he not be paid? If a shaman administers healing salve to your soul should they not be paid?

I have been paid for my work, but I have no set prices for any shamanic work. Mostly I charge for other services, such as performing ceremonies or providing counseling. That said, if I work for someone and they feel that they wish to give me a gift or some such, I will accept the gift with respect for the feelings of the person offering it.

Many times these gifts find their way to the hands of others who need them.
